Halloween Worksheets for Kindergarten with Math and Literacy Games
Are you a big fan of Halloween? Honestly, I wasn’t until I got married and had kids. I mean, it’s nice to celebrate Halloween when you’re a kid because HELLO CANDY! But there was a time between graduating college and having kids that I was this humbug that hated Halloween.
But, you know, with kids, you just look for ways and reasons to celebrate! It makes life more fun, ya know?
Learning and Celebrating Halloween
Things this year are different with celebrating Halloween, but we’re still going strong with learning this Halloween. This complete workbook has clip games for PreK, work problems for kindergarten, and even double digit pumpkin math for third or fourth graders.

Halloween Math and Literacy Games
This pack is jam packed! I really wanted to focus on some sort of Math activity and something for the Literacy center for each age group I was creating for. The PreK section has a fun candy corn numerical matching set to help them see the writing of the word, count the dots, and the blank section for them to write the number.
The Kindergarten to second grade has some SUPER fun activities. There is a CVC Word Game that helps them sound short words out that are perfect for the holiday. An adult would probably need to read the word problems included in this section, but I know they are silly and will get your kids laughing.
Even though the early elementary section has a “Write a Story” section, my absolute FAVORITE part of this whole Halloween workbook is the folded book that you make yourself. The video is below and is really easy peasy to follow. Our kids have made like 6 picture books each because it’s just so fun!

How To Use It
The complete directions are including in a parent and teacher guide in the first few pages of the workbook. To prepare the activities in this free preK morning work and binder, I suggest printing them in color on white card stock or printing on regular paper and laminating it so it’s durable and reusable.
Another way to make the sheets reusable is by putting them straight into the page protectors. Using dry erase markers on page protectors is okay and it can be wiped off.
